Luxury Sailing Holidays

Destinations
The best beaches, islands and stopovers in the Ionian, including some special places that the charter companies and flotillas rarely visit. We usually plan to be sailing for about 3 hours overall a day so there is plenty of time to relax and swim.
Typical weekly itinerary (we will adjust to suit any specific requests or preferences you have)
Day 1 (Sat) - Arrival, tour of the boat. Welcome glass of fizz or a cold beer served with canapés. Opportunity to explore Preveza and evening meal in one of the many great restaurants
Day 2 - Sail south through the Lefkas Canal, stop for lunch in Aberlike Bay and chance for your first swim. Afternoon sail to Spartachori on Meganisi Island. Chill at the beach. Enjoy the spectacular views from Spartochori village before dinner.
Day 3 - Kastos a delightful small island to the east of the Ionian, rarely visited by charters and one of the crews particular favourites. We will anchor and tie to shore in its very pretty harbour with great space for a swim. Ashore there is the opportunity for cocktails at a converted windmill with breathtaking views and some wonderful local restaurants
Day 4 - Kioni on the legendary island of Ithaca (Homer’s birthplace), an incredible natural and protected harbour
Day 5 - Fiskardo on Cephalonia an island famous for its starring role in Captain Correlli’s Mandolin. This really is a spectacular harbour, often referred to as the St Tropez of Greece. It offers a wide range activities including walking, cycling, yoga classes, etc and some great dining options in the evening.
Day 6 - Sivota on Lefkas. Another great natural harbour with a characterful village offering some super bars and restaurants (oh and the best bakery in the Ionian!). We will have a reserved space on the pontoon at Taverna Stavros.
Day 7 - relaxed sail back to Preveza through the Meganisi Channel and the Lefkas Canal with a lunch stop for a swim. Cocktails and a last night meal in Preveza. Depart the next morning
